Navratri in Gujarat is a nine-day social of production famous by the whole population, punctuated with devotional music and dances, prominent as 'Dandiya Raas' and 'Garba Raas'. Also, jaagran is noticed by many, with enthusiasts getting through the evening to please the Goddess. Of recognized importance is the Amba Mata Forehead at Junagadh, Gujarat which witnesses a members of enthusiasts during this time.

Another attribute dancing of navratri is the Dandia – Raas, in which men and ladies be a part of the dancing group, having small elegant stays (dandias) together, including to the merriment. The dances usually start delayed in the evening and proceed until day.

Hriday Kunj is one of the famous historical place in Gujarat. Hriday Kunj was the residence where the great leader of Indian National Movement Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi started his realistic tests of the essential non-violent Satyagraha and independence battle for the nation. It was from this property of Hriday Kunj, Gandhiji started his sodium Satyagraha in 1930. Gandhiji remained in Hriday Kunj of Gujarat between 1918-1930.

Hriday Kunj, Ahmedabad is in the property of the well-known ashram of Mahatma Gandhi. Historical Place - Adalaj Vav

Adalaj is a village located in Gandhinagar District of gujarat . The 'Vav' (step-well) at Adalaj comes its name from the woman client, Ruda, spouse of the Vaghela primary, Virsinh; who designed it in the Fifteenth or Sixteenth millennium AD. The 'Vav', set out in the north-south route, the phase well with the well in the northern and the entry in the southern, has a complete level of 75.3 meters. It is the only significant monument of its type, having three entry stairways resulting to stepped hall. These three entryways set up in the first storey, subterranean, in a large rectangle foundation. The foundation has an octagonal in shape on the top.

The Structure
Adalaj Vav GujaratThe foundation sets on 16 pillars, eight on the sides, and two at the front part of each primary part. Four built-in shrines, with gates, windows and balconies, indicate the four sides of the foundation. The walked arena starts from this rectangle foundation. The arena is entirely enclosed by a one-meter high ramparts walls with a curved significant. It descends with four pavilion systems for five storeys. The surfaces of the 'Vav' are veritable features of statues and artwork. The statues variety from a master seated on a feces under a parasol, to erotic scenes; and from women rolling buttermilk to moving ladies. The supports of the gates around the entryways of the rotating stairways to the octagonal in shape base are enclosed by a 'parikrama', which is an increased edition of the supports around the marketers. Stringcourses operating along the sidewalls enhance all areas of the framework, sometimes splitting the walls into horizontally areas. They also come into perspective on the surfaces of the octagonal in shape base, illustrating flower or foliage styles, or lines of creatures.

Gujarat

Gujarat is the western state of India, and a part of it plinked with the Arabian Sea.  It shares  border with Pakistan in the northwest and also shares borders with the other states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, and with the Union Territories of Diu, Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.

Gujarat is divided into three  regions: the eastern region , the Saurashtra region and  the northern region. The eastern region comprises of major cities like Ahmedabad , Surat Vadodara; the saurashtra region comprises of  gluf areas like cambay and kutch; and the northern region comprises of kutch with a desert.

Gujarat is the most industrial state in the country and contributes about one-fifth of the total industrial output of India. It does  well in textiles and electronics, and it has the largest petrochemical industries in India.  Though Gandhinagar is the capital of the state, and Ahmedabad as  its former capital,  it is the most important city commercially and historically , containing Gujarat's  international airport.  Surat is famous for diamond polishing and trade and Vadodara is an erstwhile princely estate.
